The current longhouse food centre along upp thomson road, near lakeview. Years ago, i think almost 20 years ago, it used to be A & W fastfood.
Then many years later it changed into a food centre with many foodstalls. Then closed down not long, for many years, n then finally it got developed into the current Longhouse food centre.
Any of u remember? Good old days..Edited by Bhakka 10 Nov `08, 8:08PM

like the one in the pic - high top

or u prefer the low cut kind?

for me i prefer the low cut type... more convenient n comfortable. And also don't have to tie shoe lace everytime. I wear low cut all along, then one time i go buy high top, then end up didn't really wear it coz i dun like to tie shoe lace everytime, n also wear already the ankle feel like not flexible...like the feet feels very restricted. Furthermore take off shoe n wear shoe also troublesome...have to squeeze in n out. What u think guys?

But haiz condo is ex. Not sure when i can afford.
but for my condo only residents can access the gym as all residents who want to enter to the gym have to input their thumbprint on the scanner, n then only will the gym door open.for the condo u sneak into, is it ur friend one? to access the gym u need to slide the card onto the reader is it?

u guys live in condo with gym facility?
or u have a mini gym in ur own home?
or u r a member of a private gym (etc clubhouse or school etc gym)post pic here leh....
ok i start first. i live in a smalll condo estate....pretty small estate, not really many units, therefore gym is small. in the condo only got swimming pool + jacuzzi pool + kids pool, gym, function room n kids play room. thats all the facilities it has. no basketball court or tennis or squash court since its a small estate. this condo about 5 year plus or so...if i m not wrong
the gym got 2 treadmills, 1 cross trainer, 2 cyclers.
got multi gym machine. in one corner got some exercise ball, medicine ball n weights. these were left there by one of the resident, dunno who. the 2 exercise mat were already there all along.
behind the multi gym got free weights n bench, also left there by 1 resident, dunno who.
the gym got air con, one side is mirror n the other side is glass. access to gym is by thumbprint reader.
i go there about 3 or 4 or 5 times per week, but usually 4 times. i spent like an hour plus there each time, like 1 hour 15 mins or so. Either run about 3 or 4 km or so n walk 2km +, or do 30 to 45 mins on the cross trainer. the rest of the time i do weight training.
the gym usually got no people coz its a small estate, not many residents. therefore i have the whole gym to myself, which is quite good since i dun have to worry about disturbing people with banging of weights. n i also like to set the air con quite high, so it'd be warm n then i can sweat when i exercise. feels good to sweat.
wished there was more equipment though since got quite a big space.
